Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a Scale House Operator to join our team in the United States. The role requires accurate weighing of live haul trailers, diligent data entry on long sheets, and careful transfer of information to office sheets.

You will also monitor USDA PVP sheets, manage yard time, and ensure proper signage on trailers. The position emphasizes teamwork, organization, and reliable computer usage, with daily interactions across the plant and live haul teams.

• Fill out scale tickets with information from the catcher load sheet


• Write all information on long sheet


• Copy all information from long sheet to office sheet


• Weigh RVI trailers


• Make sure PVP/NON PVP signs are on the trailers


• Figure head counts for each trailer/farm when finished with the house for that farm


• Figure yard time and write it on the long sheet


• Figure DOA’s and weight at the end of the shifts
