Job summary

Stark Carpet in Calhoun, GA is seeking a 1st Shift Samples Order Puller to accurately pull, verify, and prepare fabric sample orders for shipment, ensuring quality and on-time fulfillment.

You will use handheld scanners and warehouse systems, work closely with inventory and shipping teams, and maintain a clean, safe workspace while meeting daily productivity and quality goals.

Previous warehouse or order-pulling experience is preferred, and a high school diploma is desired.

Qualifications

• Must be able to safely lift 50–70 pounds regularly.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions, labeling, and safety guidelines.
• Willing to cross-train in multiple areas to support team operations.
• Warehouse/order-pulling/inventory experience preferred.
• Experience with fabrics, textiles, or flooring products is a plus.
• Ability to read work orders and identify fabric styles, colors, and patterns.
• Basic computer and scanner experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pull fabric sample orders based on customer orders and work requests.
• Verify fabric style, color, pattern, and quantity before completing each order.
• Label, package, and prepare sample orders for shipment.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by returning materials to storage locations.
• Inspect fabric samples for defects before shipping.
• Use handheld scanners and production tracking systems to record orders.
• Collaborate with Inventory, Shipping, and Production teams to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following safety standards.
• Assist with inventory counts, restocking materials, and other warehouse duties.
• Meet daily productivity and quality goals with attention to detail.

Scalamandre is seeking a 1st Shift Samples Order Puller to join our Calhoun, GA warehouse. In this role, you will accurately pull, verify, and prepare fabric sample orders while ensuring the highest level of quality and timely fulfillment for our customers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Accurately pull fabric sample orders based on customer orders and work requests.
• Verify fabric style, color, pattern, and quantity before completing each order.
• Label, package, and prepare sample orders for shipment.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by returning materials to the correct storage locations.
• Inspect fabric samples for defects, damage, or quality concerns before shipping.
• Use handheld scanners and production tracking systems to record completed orders.
• Work closely with Inventory, Shipping, and Production teams to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following company safety standards.
• Assist with inventory counts, restocking materials, and other warehouse duties as assigned.
• Meet daily productivity and quality expectations while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Requirements:

• Must be able to safely lift and move materials weighing 50–70 pounds on a regular basis.
• Must demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately follow instructions, labeling, documenting, following procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Must be willing to cross-train in multiple areas and perform different duties as needed to support team and business operations.
• Previous warehouse, order pulling, inventory, or material handling experience preferred.
• Experience working with fabrics, textiles, or flooring products is a plus.
• Ability to accurately read work orders and identify fabric styles, colors, and patterns.
• Basic computer and scanner experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and reach throughout the shift.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
