Job summary

ASRC Industrial is seeking a Scaffolding Supervisor to lead scaffolding crews across projects in California. The role requires strong leadership, strict safety enforcement, and an ability to coordinate with project teams and trades to keep schedules on track.

You will plan activities, read blueprints, manage materials, and ensure compliance with design specs and quality standards. A proactive problem-solver with clear communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading scaffolding crews.
• Strong knowledge of scaffolding erection and safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other technical documents.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct scaffolding crews, subordinate supervisors, and foremen.

• Plan and schedule scaffolding activities and ensure material availability.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Supervision: Lead and direct scaffolding crews, subordinate supervisors, and foremen.
• Safety: Champion and enforce all safety procedures, standards, and regulations. This includes conducting inspections for unsafe conditions and leading safety meetings.
• Planning: Plan and schedule all scaffolding activities, determine labor and equipment needs, and ensure materials are available.
• Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure the scaffolding plan supports the overall project schedule.
• Quality control: Monitor work to ensure it complies with project specifications, blueprints, and quality standards.
• Management: Manage scaffolding materials, equipment, and inventory. This can include preparing estimates for rentals and maintaining detailed records.
• Documentation: Maintain all necessary records, documentation, and reports related to scaffolding activities.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Extensive knowledge of scaffolding erection and safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other technical documents.
• Excellent problem-solving skills for handling complex situations and resolving issues.
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with various teams and personnel
