Austin Industrial is seeking a Scaffold Leadman for the Texas City, TX location. The role involves construction, assembly, maintenance, and dismantling of tubular scaffolding and other temporary structures on industrial sites.

Responsibilities include working at heights, determining scaffold type, transporting materials, erecting and inspecting scaffolding, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and company rules. 2 years scaffold builder experience preferred.

• 2 years scaffold builder experience.

Responsibilities

• Work at heights with no fear.
• Bring basic hand tools to site.
• Determine type of scaffold needed.
• Transport tubular scaffold or other structural material and erect scaffold as instructed by scaffold builder.
• Hoist scaffolding materials upward to erect temporary structure.
• Secure and level locking sections of scaffolding material.
• Secure scaffold to permanent structure for added stability.
• Adhere to OSHA, site-specific and Austin Industrial requirements for erecting/navigation of scaffolding.
• Dismantle scaffolding when communicated to do so.
• Inspect and properly stow scaffolding material after dismantling.
• Perform final inspection of completed scaffolding.
• Other duties as assigned.
