Job summary

BrandSafway is seeking a Scaffold Leadman in Destrehan, LA for the Valero SCO projects. The role oversees field personnel, ensures safety and timely completion per the scope, and serves as a front-line safety contact.

The Leadman will lead crew activities, assist the Foreperson, manage field take-offs, requisitions, and logistics, and ensure quality and efficiency on site with a strong safety focus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years experience in related field.
• Minimum of three years assisting the Foreperson with supervision.
• Experience directing field personnel and ensuring safety, quality and schedule.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise field personnel to complete work safely, on time and within budget.
• Ensure tasks align with the scope of work and project goals.
• Act as front line contact for safety, QA/QC and hazardous conditions.

Responsible for the direction of field personnel. Assures that all work is completed safely, per the scope of work, on time and within budget. Applies to individuals responsible for the supervision of direct field personnel. A leadperson will have the following skills:

• Assures all work is completed safely, per the scope, on time, and within budget
• Has experience in field take-off, material requisitions, material logistics, and effective pre-job planning
• Usually possesses a minimum of five (5) years experience in his/her related field
• Usually possesses a minimum of three (3) years of assisting the Foreperson with the supervision craft personnel in a crew leader capacity
• Acts as the front line contact for safety, quality, QA/QC, Job Safety Analysis, and overall awareness of hazardous conditions
