Job summary

BrandSafway is hiring a Scaffold Lead Technician in Savannah, GA. The role directs field personnel, ensures safety and adherence to scope, and supports pre-job planning and logistics to complete projects on time and within budget.

Ideal candidates have extensive experience in field supervision, take-off, requisitions, and coordination with the Foreperson to lead crews safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in field take-off, material requisitions, material logistics, and effective pre-job planning.
• Minimum five years experience in related field.
• Minimum three years assisting Foreperson with supervision in a crew leader capacity.
• Acts as the front line contact for safety, QA/QC, and awareness of hazardous conditions.

Responsibilities

• Direct field personnel and ensure safety, per scope, on time and within budget.
• Lead in safety, quality assurance/quality control activities and field supervision.
• Coordinate take-off, requisitions, and logistics for projects.
• Provide crew leadership in conjunction with the Foreperson.

Responsible for the direction of field personnel. Assures that all work is completed safely, per the scope of work, on time and within budget. Applies to individuals responsible for the supervision of direct field personnel. A leadperson will have the following skills:

• Assures all work is completed safely, per the scope, on time, and within budget
• Has experience in field take-off, material requisitions, material logistics, and effective pre-job planning
• Usually possesses a minimum of five (5) years experience in his/her related field
• Usually possesses a minimum of three (3) years of assisting the Foreperson with the supervision craft personnel in a crew leader capacity
• Acts as the front line contact for safety, quality, QA/QC, Job Safety Analysis, and overall awareness of hazardous conditions
