Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Scaffold E&D Foreman 2 to lead on-site scaffold installations and dismantling. You will direct daily operations, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate multiple trades to keep projects on schedule.

As the on-site Competent Person, you will read blueprints, plan hoist and mast climbing system layouts, manage crews (up to three Foreman 1 teams), and uphold Quality and OSHA standards across active job sites.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required; trade school preferred.
Familiar with hoisting, rigging, signaling and safety standards.
Ability to read blueprints and design scaffold types; materials planning.

Responsibilities

Direct daily field operations for scaffold erection and dismantling.
Oversee equipment installation, safety compliance, and multi-trade coordination.
Act as on-site Competent Person (OSHA) directing crews up to three Foreman 1 teams.
Interface with clients and manage costs/schedules.

The Role

What You'll Do As a Level 2 Foreman, you are the critical bridge between field execution and project management. You will safely and effectively direct daily operations, overseeing equipment installation, safety compliance, and multi-trade logistical coordination. While you won’t typically be working with your tools, you will be the on-site Competent Person (OSHA) directing up to three Foreman 1 crews to flawlessly erect and dismantle complex scaffolding systems.

What We Are Looking For (Position Requirements)

Rack & Pinion Expertise: Direct, hands-on experience with specialized equipment, including Construction Hoists, Transport Platforms, and Mast Climbing Platforms.
Proven Leadership: A minimum of 5 years of combined experience as a Scaffold Carpenter, Lead Carpenter, and/or Foreman 1 (or approved equivalent).
Technical Precision: Ability to confidently read blueprints, design various scaffold types, and accurately calculate material orders.
Rigging Mastery: Deep practical knowledge of Hoisting, Rigging, and Signaling operations.
Safety Leadership: Proven track record of conducting Risk Assessments, managing JSAs, and enforcing OSHA regulations.
Elite People Skills: Exceptional communication, organizational, and teamwork skills to interface with clients, manage costs/schedules, and coordinate seamlessly with other job site trades.

Additional Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent (Trade School preferred).
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to work comfortably and safely at considerable heights and lift up to 40 lbs.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a major plus!

Physical Demands & Environment

The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 40 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors in various weather conditions.

Base Pay Range

$24.05 - 30.06 Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
