Sunbelt Rentals in Chesapeake, VA is seeking a Scaffold E&D Carpenter to join our field team. You will assist with scaffolding materials, support the Lead Carpenter, and coach junior helpers on site. The role requires willingness to work at heights, attention to safety, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced construction environment.

We offer competitive pay and full benefits. Base pay ranges from $17.75 to $21.57 per hour; starting pay depends on location and experience.

Qualifications

• Education: Trade school preferred but not required.
• Scaffold E/D Helper 2 for at least 1 year or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work safely at heights and operate on various scaffolding materials.

Responsibilities

• Assist in stacking and counting scaffolding materials on site or for shipment.
• Prepare materials for shipping and assist Foreman/Lead Carpenter.
• Mentor and coach E/D Helpers to aid in their development.
