Job summary

Turner Industries is seeking a Scaffold Builder in Decatur, AL. This non-exempt role assembles, positions, modifies, and dismantles scaffolding per job specs, reporting to a supervisor.

Candidates should have high school or equivalent, 1–4 years of scaffold experience, and the ability to read drawings and operate forklifts. National certification is preferred; post-offer drug screening and safety policy compliance are required.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent.
• 1–4 years of scaffold experience depending on skill level.
• Ability to read engineered drawings preferred.
• Ability to operate different types of forklift.
• National Certification preferred (may be required by client).
• Post offer drug/alcohol screen and safety policy acceptance.
• Must comply with company and client site safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Inspects surface for holes, objects, and levelness and ensures scaffold safety.
• Assembles scaffold components: guardrails, planks, braces, and wheels.
• Positions and secures scaffold to provide safe access per specs.
• Dismantles scaffold and adapts to various types per supervisor instruction.
