Job summary

Turner Industries is a leading industrial contractor seeking skilled workers for field roles in Virginia. You will inspect surfaces, assemble and secure scaffolds, and operate forklifts while following site safety rules and client requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–4 years of experience in the specified skill (depending on mechanic level).
• Must be local candidate.
• Ability to read engineered drawings preferred.
• Ability to operate different types of forklift.
• National Certification preferred (may be required by client).
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation.
• Safety requirements and equipment as required by the client.

Responsibilities

• Inspect surfaces for holes and levelness.
• Assemble scaffold components (guardrails, planks, wheels, etc.).
• Position and secure scaffold to permanent structures.
• Perform assignments per supervisor's direction.
