Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company in the United States seeks a skilled Scaffolding Installer to erect and dismantle scaffolding, operate heavy equipment, rig loads, and support diverse construction projects. You will read blueprints to determine scope, identify tools, cut materials, and assemble ladders, walkways, and platforms.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, be able to follow instructions, and pass safety and drug tests.

Qualifications

Reads blueprints and specifications to determine scope, locations, quantities and sizes of materials.
Ability to understand and transmit written and oral instructions to management and supervision.
Willingness to follow safety procedures and use required tools safely.

Responsibilities

Read blueprints and specification to determine the scope of work: locations, quantities, and sizes of materials required.
Identify all tools required for tasks and measure, mark, and cut required wooden/metallic materials to required specifications.
Erect and disassemble scaffolding for buildings and other structures and installs ladders, handrails, walkways, platforms, and gangways.
Construct, re-enforce, and dismantle pre-constructed Scaffolds.
Build and construct wooden Scaffolds and auxiliary items.
Perform work involving rigging of equipment loads.
