Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a Scaffold Builder Helper to assist Scaffold Builders in constructing, maintaining, and dismantling tubular scaffolding on job sites across the United States.

The role requires physical capability to work at heights, adherence to OSHA and site safety rules, and possession of a valid TWIC Card and Driver’s License. 6+ months industrial experience is preferred; sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• 6+ months experience in an industrial setting.
• Valid TWIC Card and Driver’s License.
• No minimum education requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work at heights with no fear.
• Transports tubular scaffold or other structural material and erects the scaffold as instructed by the scaffold builder.
• Hoists scaffolding materials upward in order to erect temporary structure.
• Properly secures and levels locking sections of scaffolding material.
• Properly secures scaffold to the permanent structure for added stability.
• Adheres to all OSHA, site specific and Austin Industrial requirements for the erecting and navigation of the scaffolding.
• Pass materials and tools to Journeyman as needed.
• Dismantles scaffolding when it has been properly communicated to do so.
• Other duties as assigned.

Scaffold Builder Helper

Qualifications Required For This Position

Education – no minimum education requirements.

Experience – 6+ months experience in an Industrial setting preferred.

Certification/License - A Valid TWIC Card and Driver’s License.
