Job summary

The Brock Group Inc. is seeking a Scaffold Apprentice in Corpus Christi, TX to assist in building, demoing, staging and modifying scaffolding components. You will work with a mentor, learn proper tools, and participate in safety programs while following company and governmental requirements.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, installing components, organizing materials, and completing safety paperwork. This role requires adaptability to indoor/outdoor environments and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required.
• 1 year scaffold experience preferred.
• 2 years scaffold experience preferred.
• Adherence to regional and local requirements (Level I–IV).

Responsibilities

• Promote Brock’s safety culture in all aspects of the job.
• Comply with manufacturer’s specifications and safety requirements.
• Follow instructions from Scaffold Journeyman and Foreman to learn tools and tasks.
• Read specifications and blueprints to understand scaffold layouts.
• Install steel pipes, support braces and clamps to form scaffold bases.
• Identify scaffold materials by type (frame, tube & clamp, system).
• Prepare and organize materials and complete safety paperwork.
