Job summary

HF Sinclair Midstream is seeking a SCADA Programming Technician to work from Casper, WY or Artesia, NM. Responsibilities include designing control systems, programming PLCs, maintaining HMIs, and setting up field communication networks.

Travel up to 50% may be required and supervision of contractors is possible. Minimum three years of on-the-job SCADA experience is required; associate degree in relevant field is required with bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years on-the-job experience required.
• Control operations experience is preferred.
• Associate's Degree in CS/IT/Engineering/Telecommunications or related field, or equivalent experience required.
• Bachelor's Degree in CS/IT/Engineering/Telecommunications or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and designs control systems for pipeline/terminal control.
• Programs PLCs for the design and implementation of Windows-based software.
• Maintains and programs PLCs and field HMIs.
• Designs and sets up network structures for field communication.
• Conducts communication testing for field sites.
• Provides top-tier support to operators and field personnel on SCADA usage.
