Job summary
HF Sinclair Midstream seeks a SCADA Programming Technician to operate in Artesia, NM or Casper, WY. The role involves designing control systems for pipeline/terminal operations and programming PLCs for Windows-based software, with responsibilities spanning field HMIs, network setup, and 3rd-party coordination.
The candidate should have a minimum of three years of on-the-job experience and an Associate’s degree (or equivalent) in CS/IT/Engineering/Telecommunications; a Bachelor’s degree is
Qualifications
- Mid-level knowledge of PLC programming, VSAT communication, Networking and HMI displays.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with GE PLCs, Allen Bradley PLCs, Wonderware Intouch, ClearSCADA and Proficy Machine Edition preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develops and designs control systems for pipeline/terminal control.
- Programs PLCs for Windows-based software implementations.
- Maintains PLCs and field HMIs.
- Sets up network structures for field communication.
- Provides top-tier support to system operators and field personnel of SCADA systems.
- Documents field site network configuration and user requirements.
- Assists I&E group with troubleshooting field issues.
