Job summary

The City of Mesa seeks a Utilities Systems Analyst I or II to support and enhance the SCADA system across water treatment and related facilities. You will develop graphics, test interfaces, and configure PLCs while producing operator-facing reports.

Responsibilities include hardware/software evaluation, network and HMI enhancements, and ensuring accuracy of P&ID drawings. This role offers on-site work with on-call support in II.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in CS/IT/engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of information systems experience with SCADA or utility networks.
• Experience with PLC programming and control systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, test SCADA graphics and interfaces for operators.
• Program PLCs using ladder logic, structured text, and SFC.
• Install, configure, and maintain SCADA workstations and peripherals.
• Create and modify SCADA reports and documentation.
• Assist in evaluating hardware and software for facilities.
