Black & Veatch is seeking a SCADA Engineer to design and support substations and renewable energy SCADA systems. You will work on hardware, networking, fiber, datalinks, RTU I/O, HMI screens, and related configuration files while ensuring QA, estimates, and standards compliance.

You will lead engineering tasks, communicate with teams, and assist in cyber security and factory acceptance testing, with field or remote commissioning as needed.

Formación

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science.
• Minimum of 5 years related experience in SCADA or power projects.
• Professional Engineer registration is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Generate design documents and deliverables for substation and renewables SCADA systems.
• Provide oversight and lead lower-level engineering tasks.
• Read schematics and one-line diagrams for control systems.
• Develop control narratives, data links, and procurement specs.
• Support cyber security auditing and field commissioning.
• Coordinate SCADA project work for timely execution.
• Support client needs with standard practices and industry norms.
• Remote support to field construction teams as needed.
