Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is recruiting for a SCADA Engineer focused on Renewable Energy and Battery Storage in Austin, Texas. The role is on-site with a competitive compensation package including healthcare, 401K, PTO, and potential bonus.

You will own SCADA systems end-to-end, working across controls, software, and power systems from design through commissioning, and you will lead technical development and maintenance of SCADA for renewable facilities.

• Provide off-hour support for emergencies and major system events affecting generation assets.
• Support project engineering in the preparation and evaluation of technical design drawings, specifications, technical requirements, and operational specifications for project and product-related items.

Are you a SCADA Engineer looking for a technically hands-on role where you own systems end to end, working with an established, rapidly growing company that offers structured career progression?

This is an excellent opportunity to take technical ownership of complex renewable energy and battery storage systems, working across controls, software, and power systems from early design through commissioning. You will operate close to the technology, engage directly with systems operations and influence how the infrastructure is delivered as the organization continues to scale.

In this role, you will lead the technical development and maintenance of SCADA systems for the control and operation of renewable energy generation facilities. You will develop and maintain substation RTU configurations using SEL Real-Time Automation Controllers (RTACs), maintain programmable logic control (PLC) systems and manage the communications interfaces required to operate solar, wind, and battery storage. This role combines hands-on engineering with system leadership in a highly technical environment.
