A growing tech company in the United States seeks an experienced SCADA Engineer to provide engineering assistance, design systems, and support existing software solutions. Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales engineering assistance for AVEVA products.
• Collaborate with manufacturing customers for project requirements.
• Design and deliver HMI/SCADA solutions.
• Provide onsite installation, training, and support.
• Consult and troubleshoot existing production software.
• Upgrade production software applications.
• Contribute to consulting operations and new product research.
• Install and configure Microsoft and 3rd party software.
• Troubleshoot AVEVA software including InTouch.

Skills

Experience with System Platform

Understanding of GAMP documentation

Familiarity with ISA88

Experience with OSI PI

VM experience

Knowledge of MES

Q-mation is growing! We're looking for an experienced SCADA Engineer to join the team!

**Only candidates with current, hands-on experience using InTouch and System Platform will be considered. Prior or outdated experience does not meet the requirements.**

Job Duties:

• Provide pre-sales engineering assistance for AVEVA software products and projects
• Collaborate directly with manufacturing customers to understand their objectives and requirements
• Design, develop, test, and deliver robust automation and HMI/SCADA solutions
• Provide onsite installation, training, and commissioning support for delivered solutions
• Provide consulting, troubleshooting, and support for existing production software solutions
• Upgrade existing production software applications, with or without modifications
• Contribute to consulting operations activities such as recruiting, new product research, etc.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of software development best practices
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Microsoft and other 3rd party software such as: VMWare, MS Windows, MS SQL Server, MS RDS, etc.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot AVEVA software such as InTouch, System Platform, etc.

Job Requirements:

• Must have relevant experience with System Platform and InTouch
• A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field from a 4-year college or university is preferred
• 5+ years in process automation or similar industry
• Proficiency with the Wonderware/AVEVA software suite
• Nice to have: GAMP documentation, ISA88, OSI PI, VM experience, MES, terminal services, speaks Japanese
