Job summary

TraC-n-trol, a Texas-based statewide systems integration company, seeks an Assistant Technical Project Engineer for municipal water/wastewater SCADA, electrical, instrumentation, and controls projects across Texas.

You will support project management, estimating, bidding, and quoting, helping design SCADA systems and coordinating with contractors, engineers, and owners to deliver reliable solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience with water/wastewater plant operations or operator experience is a plus.
• Understanding of SCADA technology and its uses is an asset.
• Ability to review plans and specifications and translate into quotations.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with general contractors, engineers, owners, and subcontractors for municipal water/wastewater utilities.
• Monitor plan rooms and sources for potential projects.
• Review plans/specs or contribute to quotations based on scope of work.
• Manage personnel and resources for projects.
• Prepare quotations during bid phase and manage bid process.
