Job summary

SAIC is seeking an SCA Engineering Technician IV-2M to support the US Navy in Crane, IN. The role involves repair of circuit card assemblies and electronic modules, testing, and data analysis in a hands-on environment.

The candidate will read schematics and engineering drawings, perform routine calibration and testing, and document findings. Interim secret clearance is required to start, with SAIC sponsorship for the Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read schematics and engineering drawings.
• Experience with miniature/microminiature repair is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills in electronics.
• Ability to document tests and results clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform Miniature/Microminiature Electronics Repair (2M) on CCAs and EMs.
• Troubleshoot and repair faulty circuit cards and modules.
• Conduct tests, experiments, analyze data, and document findings.
• Perform routine repair, retrofit, systems integration, calibration and testing.
• Install, maintain, repair, and modify electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment.
• Follow schematics, diagrams, and plans for testing and troubleshooting.

SAIC is seeking an SCA Engineering Technician IV-2M to support the US Navy in Crane, IN.

Position Description

• Perform Miniature/Microminiature Electronics Repair (2M) supporting testing and repair of Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA) and Electronic Modules (EM).

• Performs corrective maintenance on circuit cards and electronic modules by troubleshooting and repairing the faulty cards and modules.

• Testing and evaluation: Conducting tests and experiments, analyzing data, and documenting findings.

• Conduct routine repair, retrofit, systems integration, calibration and testing; in-line repair and testing; operation of test equipment

• Installing, maintaining, repairing, and modifying various types of equipment, including electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.

• Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions.

• Conduct or monitor system, subsystem, equipment or component testing

• Analyze test results/determine valid recommendations and conclusions based on test data.

Qualifications

Required education and experience

• HS/GED and 3 or more years' experience

• Current or past certification in Miniature/Microminiature Electronics Repair (2M).

• Interim secret clearance required to start with the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance. SAIC will sponsor the clearance process

• Must be U.S. citizen

• Must be able to work from schematics and engineering drawings

Target salary range: $40,001 - $80,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
