Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare seeks a board-certified nephrologist for weekend inpatient coverage in Charleston, SC. The role involves managing adult dialysis patients and post-renal transplant care within a busy nephrology service.

Shifts run Friday 5pm to Monday 8am with patient volumes varying by weekend. Hospital privileges are required, and Weatherby covers malpractice, travel, and housing. You will have 24/7 access to a Weatherby consultant and join a charter member of NALTO.

Qualifications

• Weekend coverage requirement.
• 5 pm Friday - 8 am Monday shift schedule.
• 10 - 30 patients per day depending on weekend volume.
• 100% adult inpatient nephrology setting.
• Management of dialysis patients — Hemo, CRRT, Peritoneal.
• Management of post-renal transplant patients required.
