Job summary

Applegreen USA is hiring an Assistant General Manager for a Burger King location to drive profitability and guest service while leading a team of Hourly Shift Leaders and Crew Members. The AGM will support the General Manager in day-to-day operations, ensuring standards and brand guidelines are upheld.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership, a solid understanding of P&L drivers, and flexibility to work a varied schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Strong understanding of P&L management and drivers of restaurant profitability.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Teams, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to prioritize own and others’ work and time to meet deadlines and objectives.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and understanding of guest service principles.
• Available to work flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business.
• Ability to work long and/or irregular shifts as needed, for proper functioning of the restaurant.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to interact in a positive and professional manner with guests and co-workers.
• Willingness to learn all areas of restaurant operations & work multiple stations.
• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-2 years of previous quick service restaurant experience, experience in management preferred.

• Ensures that restaurant upholds operational and brand standards.
• Performs duties of Hourly Shift Leader when necessary

Position Summary

Applegreen USA is in a rapid growth phase and is seeking to recruit an Assistant Manager for one of our Burger King locations. Assistant Managers (AGMs) are the operations leaders of the restaurant focused on profitability, Guest service, people development and operations management.
