We are seeking a Part-Time Consultant to join the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at the College of Southern Maryland. The consultant will play a vital role in offering guidance and backing to small businesses that originated in Charles County during the COVID-19 pandemic but encountered hurdles in actualizing their business blueprints. Additionally, the consultant will extend their support to aspiring entrepreneurs who desire to start businesses due to the impact of COVID-19.
This role will be primarily dedicated to aiding businesses in their initial phases and contributing to their revival through the provision of strategic advisory services. These services include start-up strategies, recovery roadmaps, market analysis, and other relevant support.
Reports to: The Director, SBDC
The work schedule for this position is 29 hours per week. Flexibility is required.
