Job summary

Markent Personnel is seeking an experienced SBA Relationship Manager in San Francisco to develop new lending relationships and grow a portfolio of business clients. You will leverage SBA lending, commercial banking, and credit analysis to structure opportunities and deliver excellent client service to owners and referral partners.

The role focuses on generating SBA loan opportunities, managing a diverse client base, and collaborating with internal teams to provide comprehensive banking

Qualifications

• Experience in SBA lending, commercial lending, or business banking.
• Proven sales and business development experience.
• Strong understanding of credit analysis and business financial statements.
• Experience developing and managing a loan portfolio.
• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate new SBA loan opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and relationship development.
• Develop and manage relationships with business owners and commercial clients.
• Analyze borrower financial statements, cash flow, credit history, and overall creditworthiness.
• Structure and recommend SBA loan opportunities for approval.
• Prepare and present loan requests to the appropriate credit or loan committee.
• Manage and grow an existing portfolio of business relationships.
• Develop additional deposits, cash management, and business banking opportunities.
• Cross-sell appropriate banking products and services.
• Maintain accurate credit, loan, and portfolio documentation.
• Partner with internal lending and operations teams to provide excellent client service.
