Job summary

Velocity Vehicle Group seeks an SBA Portfolio Officer to manage SBA 7(a) loans through life cycle, including default and liquidation. The role requires detailed knowledge of liquidation, servicing, and compliance, with 3–5 years’ SBA experience and strong analytical capabilities.

Responsibilities include developing workout plans, evaluating collateral, coordinating with counsel, and advising senior management on actions to foreclose or liquidate when needed. Strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ SBA 7(a) lender experience or similar.
• Knowledge of debt collection and liquidation processes.
• Strong analytical and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with SBA platforms and standard legal/collections practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop workout action plans and follow‑ups.
• Evaluate collateral positions and survivability; suggest workout solutions.
• Assist in collections and coordinate with attorneys and borrowers.
• Lead negotiations with borrowers, guarantors, and attorneys.
• Prepare analyses on cash flow, projections, and sell recommendations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to monitor covenants and risk.
