With the assistance of senior team members, the Junior SBA Credit Analyst provides foundational analytical support to the commercial lending team by evaluating the financial strength and creditworthiness of small business loan applicants. Operating in an entry-level capacity, the primary focus oof this role is to develop expertise in commercial financial statement analysis, reporting and SBA regulatory guidelines (SBA 7a and 504 programs) This position serves as a training pipeline, transforming strong academic foundations in accounting and finance into practical skills required to assess risk, structure compliant loans, and support the credit approval process.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related business discipline is required or equivalent practical experience.
Successful completion of core accounting courses (e.g., Financial and Managerial Accounting) and finance courses (e.g., Corporate Finance, Financial Analysis) is required.
1 to 3 years of Commercial Credit Analysis experience
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, data organization) with a strong aptitude for learning proprietary banking and financial software. High attention to detail, strong quantitative problem- solving skills, and clear written communication capabilities.
Talking: Especially where one must frequently convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly, or quickly.
Average Hearing: Able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information.
Repetitive Motion: Movements frequently and regularly required using the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
Average Visual Abilities: Average, ordinary, visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products or operate machinery.
Physical Strength: Work; sitting most of the time. Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally. (Almost all office jobs.)
