Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Typically six or more years of relevant experience.
  • Strong credit analysis and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of credit analysis, credit administration, risk analysis, and credit policy.
  • Background in economics, accounting, and/or finance.
  • Effective technical report writing skills.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with various software packages and credit analysis tools.
  • Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and Code of Ethics and Conduct.

Responsibilities

  • Approve extensions of credit and make recommendations to final lending decision-makers for new/renewal/extension loans.
  • Conduct complete credit analyses by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting information on existing and prospective customers.
  • Review customer accounts and portfolios to identify, evaluate, and determine actions on potential credit quality issues.
  • Maximize credit quality while minimizing risk and potential loss to the company.
  • Use tools and software to assist in credit analysis of individual credits or portfolios.
  • Compare and evaluate possible actions and make recommendations or decisions.

  • Compare and evaluate possible courses of action and make recommendations and/or decisions
