WestRock Company is seeking a Sawmill Maint. Electrician to join their Cottonton Sawmill team. This full-time role requires a self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and 3-5 years of industrial electrical experience. Qualifications

• 3-5 years of industrial experience as Electrical Journeyman or 2-4 years formal education.
• NFPA 70E Trained with knowledge of PPE.
• Ability to work overtime and 3rd shift.

Responsibilities

• Interpret electrical drawings and perform electrical duties per NEC code.
• Install and program Variable Frequency Drives.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits from 12V DC to 480V AC.

Please See Following Minimum Requirements For This Position

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3-5 years Industrial experience as Electrical Journeyman or 2-4 years Formal Education Certificate/Diploma (Tech School , approved apprentice program)
• Ability to work safely.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings.
• Ability to perform electrical duties in relation to NEC code.
• NFPA 70E Trained and understanding of the PPE Required to do the job safely.
• Ability to Install and Program Variable Frequency Drives.
• Efficient in troubleshooting and repairing Electrical Circuits and components 12V DC to 480V AC.
• Ability to Install and Wire Electrical Components, not limited to motor starters, encoders, photo eyes, scanners, proximity switches, limit switches, push/pull button switches, joy sticks, 2/3 position switches etc.
• Hydraulic system knowledge and troubleshooting a plus.
• Trouble Shoot equipment to define problem.
• Ability and desire to learn and grow maintenance skills.
• Available to work overtime and 3rd shift.
