Job summary

Sierra Pacific Industries in Quincy, California, is seeking a qualified Sawfiler for our sawmill. This role involves tipping and grinding both carbide and stellite, benching bands and round saws, and inspecting for defects while working with a team focused on cutting‑edge products.

We offer competitive compensation with sawfiler pay at $38.57 per hour, plus a hiring bonus up to $1,500, low‑cost health benefits, a 401(k) with company match, and paid vacation and holidays.

Qualifications

• 2 years verifiable saw filing experience required.
• Understanding of sawmill manufacturing operations and processes.
• Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner.
• All applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
