48forty Solutions, the leading pallet management company in North America, is seeking a Saw Shop Operator in Walterboro, SC. You will set up and operate power saws to slot, cut, and trim wood for pallet production, ensuring safety and quality throughout the process.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Prior lumber/warehouse experience is preferred; overtime may be required to meet production demands.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Previous lumber/warehouse/construction experience preferred.
• Must communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Operate power saws to cut and trim wood pallets as directed.
• Follow and adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
• Communicate to plant management on a regular basis.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
