Job summary

48forty Solutions in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Saw Shop Operator to set up and operate power saws for slotting, cutting, and trimming wood used in pallet creation. You’ll contribute to a smooth pallet manufacturing process and support team production on the day shift.

Ideal candidates: high school diploma or GED, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and capable of working overtime. Prior lumber/warehouse or carpentry exposure is preferred, with a strong eye for detail and good communication with plant

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to lift pallets weighing about 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Experience in lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate power saws to cut & trim wood pallets
• Follow and adhere to all safety rules and regulations
• Communicate to plant management effectively on a regular basis
• Ability to work overtime as needed
