Job Title: Assembly Technician

Job Description

The Shop Technician will handle a variety of tasks including assembly, industrial painting, and fabrication work. This role primarily operates in the fabrication department, reading blueprints and running CNC Saws, Plasma Burn Table, and other pieces of fabrication equipment. The position is on the 1st shift, Monday to Thursday, 6am to 4:30pm, with additional hours during busy periods.

Responsibilities

1. Read and interpret blueprints to perform tasks accurately.
2. Operate CNC Saws, Plasma Burn Table, and other fabrication equipment.
3. Handle various assembly tasks and industrial painting.
4. Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of fabrication machinery.

Essential Skills

1. Experience in fabrication work, particularly with CNC Saw and Plasma Table.
2. Proficiency in reading blueprints.
3. Mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills.
4. Experience in saw operation and mechanical assembly.
5. Strong measuring skills are a major plus.
6. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
