Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a Saw Operator in Eugene, Oregon to support manufacturing activities and operate radial, band, abrasive and cold saws. You will set up equipment, read technical documents, and help with materials handling while maintaining a strong safety focus.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, basic math skills, and good verbal and written communication. Forklift experience is a plus in our environment that emphasizes teamwork and quality.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and specifications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Demonstrated math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
• May require forklift operator license.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate radial, band, abrasive and cold saws; adjust speeds and feeds for various materials.
• Support manufacturing activities including materials handling, shipping, receiving, and light equipment operation.
• Follow technical documents and blueprints to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Operate overhead cranes; forklift license may be required.
• Maintain safe work practices and continuously identify efficiency improvements.
