UFP Burnsville, LLC in Minnesota is seeking a Saw Operator I to set up and operate a single-blade saw. You will read production schedules and select material needed for the operation, ensuring quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include performing setups, feeding material, inspecting equipment, maintaining records, and following safety and quality procedures. Earn $19.00 to $21.00 per hour with benefits such as medical, 401(k), paid vacation, and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Minimum 3 months of experience using saws or similar equipment; some experience in manufacturing and assembling is preferred.
• Working knowledge of basic math preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Setup and operation of a single-blade saw.
• Read production scheduling sheets and identify required material.
• Ensure material meets quality specifications (grade, size, moisture, etc.).
• Perform setups according to specifications and feed material accordingly.
• Periodically check equipment to ensure specifications are met.
• Offload and stack material; cover, label, and band components if required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area; complete pre-shift startup checks.
• Maintain production records and ensure compliance with standards.
• Perform duties per safety and quality procedures and LT0 as required.
• Participate in safety and continuous improvement programs.
