Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
• Minimum 3 months of experience using saws or similar equipment; some experience in manufacturing and assembling is preferred.
• Working knowledge of basic math preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates a single-blade saw according to specifications.
• Reads production scheduling sheets to identify required material for the operation.
• Feeds material according to specifications and checks quality meets standards (grade, size, moisture, etc.).
• Performs pre-shift startup equipment inspection and maintains a clean, safe work area.
• Completes production records and participates in safety and continuous improvement programs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
