Qualifications

• Reading and math skills to read work orders and safety manuals.
• Basic measurement and conversion using English/Metric units.
• Basic computing for loading designs on Windows.
• Minimum one year of machine operator experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and scales for tolerances.
• Experience operating an overhead crane and a forklift.
• Strong manual dexterity and steady coordination.
• Detail oriented with ability to multitask in a busy shop.

Responsibilities

• Position work pieces and operate a single point machine to cut, saw, and grind.
• Use gauges and rulers for measurement and align blades and fixtures.
• Program machines from standard drawings and review specifications.
• Operate overhead crane and handle loading/unloading.
• Perform in-process and final quality inspections on parts.
• Adjust cutting speed, depth, and feeds; perform routine maintenance.
• Follow safety policies and wear PPE; maintain attendance and conduct.
• Support continuous improvement and comply with codes.
