Qualifications

• Reading/writing English for instructions and policies
• Reading English and Metric measurements with a tape measure/calipers
• Basic arithmetic to convert decimals/fractions
• Familiar with Windows software for loading designs to machines
• At least 1 year as a machine operator
• Knowledge of matching procedures and quality checks
• Ability to operate an overhead crane and forklift safely
• Demonstrated manual dexterity and coordination
• Detail oriented with ability to multitask

Responsibilities

• Position work pieces for processing and operate a single point machine to cut, saw, and grind
• Use gauges/calipers/rulers for measurement
• Program machine from standard drawing files
• Operate overhead crane as needed
• Determine processing specs by reviewing blueprints and orders
• Perform quality inspections on finished products and in-process items
• Install and align blades and fixtures using gauges and tools
• Observe machine operation to detect defects or malfunctions
• Adjust cutting speed, depth, and feed rates
• Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure compliance with safety policies
• Maintain regular attendance and follow code of conduct
• Perform other related duties as assigned
• Show dexterity and multitask effectively
