Job summary

Wieland is seeking a Bar Saw Operator for the 1st Shift in Texas City, TX. This on-site role focuses on safe, precise operation of the saw and ensuring product quality while supporting warehouse tasks as needed.

Starting pay is $19 per hour with a schedule from 6am to 3pm. The position requires strong attention to detail, ability to read engineering drawings, and teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Able to read a tape measure and calipers.
• English communication required.
• Able to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
• Willing to work occasional Saturdays.
• Team player with strong safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Operate the bar saw machine safely to produce quality parts.
• Inspect material before and after operation.
• Load and unload material for processing.
• Inspect inventory and orders for accuracy.

Wieland is hiring a Bar Saw Operator. The Saw Operator will be responsible for focusing on machine operation and product quality while assisting with overall warehouse operations as needed. This role is located in Texas City, TX and will be fully on-site.

Starting Pay: $19/hr

Schedule: 1st Shift (6am-3pm)

Responsibilities

Bar Saw Operator Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain a safe organized working environment.
• Operate machinery in a safe manner to ensure quality product.
• Inspect material before and after operation for imperfections.
• Load and unload product from the machinery for processing.
• Inspect inventory and product orders for accuracy.
• Report product discrepancies to management.
• Actively communicate with teammates.
• Operate forklifts to relocate material.
• Other Operations tasks as assigned.

Bar Saw Operator Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Understanding of manufacturing industries preferred.

• Ability to read dimensioned engineering drawings.
• Ability to read a tape measure and calipers.
