A leading manufacturing company is seeking skilled workers to join their team. The ideal candidate will operate various cutting machines and ensure safety and efficiency in a shop environment. A good grasp of blueprint reading and prior experience with shop tools and equipment are essential.

• Previous blueprint reading and use of measuring equipment.

Job description

Train on 1st shift: (7am to 3pm) then move to 2nd shift: (3pm to 1:00am)

Cut material to job specific criteria, using fabrication equipment. Deburr parts to job specific criteria, using fabrication equipment. Operate safely at all times and point out any possible safety concerns to the appropriate person (and a supervisor when appropriate). Maintain equipment and building. Other duties as assigned. Safely and efficiently coordinate and directly perform all warehouse functions, especially as they relate to operating shop equipment (cold saws, band saw, Lathe, deburring machine etc.) At least one year of successful performance in a shop environment. Able to set up and operate a various cutting machines (cold saw, band saw, lathe) and deburring machine.Previous blueprint reading and use of measuring equipment (i.e. calipers, mics, tape ect.) Previous forklift experience.

You should be proficient in:

• Blueprint Reading

• CNC Lathe (2-4 axis)
• Calipers and Micrometers
• Forklifts

Salary info:

$19 - $21 / hr
