Job summary

Tube Supply in Odessa, TX, is seeking an experienced Material Handler to support operations in a fast-paced metal manufacturing setting. The role involves prioritizing work orders, handling raw materials, cutting, receiving, and maintaining inventory accuracy while adhering to HSE and QMS policies.

You will work closely with operations, use quality instruments, perform cycle counts, and keep work areas clean.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Material Handler in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Proficiency with metal saw cutting is preferred.
• Strong forklift operation and safety awareness.
• Good computer skills to support inventory and documentation.
• Excellent communication abilities with team and supervisors.
• Demonstrates Tube Supply values in daily work.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize work orders and projects with Operations Management.
• Complete daily tasks and duties as assigned.
• Cut and issue raw material and allocate remaining material to locations.
• Receive material with proper tagging and tallying.
• Report deficiencies to Management or Supervisor.
• Assist in organizing material storage systems.
• Inspect equipment and tools daily for proper calibration.
• Use quality instruments to verify material requirements.
• Maintain a clean work area and surroundings.
• Participate in inventory counts as needed.
• Follow HSE, QMS, and Tube Supply policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Work with Operations Management to prioritize work orders and other jobs/projects
• Complete daily tasks
• Cutting and issuing raw material, allocation remaining material to correct locations
• Receiving of material (identifying, tagging, tallying)
• Report any deficiencies to Management/Supervisor
• Assist in organizing material storage systems
• Inspect equipment and tools daily to ensure proper calibration
• Use quality instruments to verify material requirements
• Clean work area and surroundings
• Maintain traceability (product description, heat#, lot#, serial#, etc.)
• Participate in all inventory physical inventory and cycle counts as needed
• Comply with all HSE, QMS, and corporate policies at Tube Supply
• Perform other duties that may be assigned by your Supervisor
