Spartan Emergency Response is seeking a Saw Operator to identify appropriate materials and cut metal to exact specifications. You will select materials, operate vertical band saws, and ensure quality while maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities include marking and storing finished pieces, performing self-inspections, and meeting production goals. A high school diploma and teamwork, safety, and precision skills are required to thrive in this role.

Summary

The Saw Operator identifies the appropriate material and cuts metal materials to required specifications. This position is responsible for accurately selecting materials, operating saw equipment, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Work Schedule

Work hours depend on business and departmental needs. All positions are subject to overtime requirements as necessary. Overtime may be scheduled through additional workdays, extended shifts, or other scheduling adjustments based on operational requirements.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities. The associate may be asked to assist with training new team members on specific job duties and processes.
