Job summary

MP Contracting LLC in Denver, CO is seeking a Saw Cutter I to perform concrete cutting, coring, and related demolition work on commercial projects. You will operate a range of cutting tools and support equipment while following safety procedures and project requirements.

This entry-level role offers progression toward Saw Cutter II based on performance and need. The position emphasizes hands-on learning, adherence to OSHA safety practices, and the ability to work as part of a crew on dynamic job

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR required.
• Approximately 2 years of concrete cutting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate or learn to operate wallsaws, coring drills, flat saws, handsaws, ringsaws, and other concrete-cutting equipment.
• Operate hydraulic, electrical, gas-powered, and handheld cutting and drilling equipment as trained and authorized.
• Perform concrete cutting and coring according to project specifications and instructions.
• Assist with equipment setup, positioning, operation, cleanup, and breakdown.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and appropriately.
• Maintain awareness of equipment condition and report problems or needed repairs.

EssentialResponsibilities

ConcreteCutting&EquipmentOperation

• Operateorlearntooperatewallsaws,coredrills,flatsaws,handsaws,ringsaws,andotherconcrete-cuttingequipment.
• Operatehydraulic,electrical,gas-powered,andhand-heldcuttinganddrillingequipmentastrainedandauthorized.
• Performconcretecuttingandcoredrillingaccordingtoprojectspecificationsandinstructions.

PhysicalRequirements:

Thispositionrequiresregularsitting,standing,walking,bending,reaching,climbing,andlifting.Theemployeemustbeabletosafelyassistwithloadingandunloadingequipmentandmaterialsandperformotherphysicaldutiesassociatedwithtransportationandconstructionoperations.Liftingupto50pounds.Workingarounddust,noise,vibration,water,concretedebris,equipment,andotherconstruction-siteconditions.
