Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel assignment in Savannah, Georgia. The role requires completion of an approved radiologic technology program, ARRT registry, and MRI experience. Assignment includes 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, and 12-hour days.

Qualifications

• Completion of a two year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
• Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
• Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners and related equipment.
• Ensure safety of patients, staff and visitors around the MRI magnetic field.
• Position patients and coils on the table; inject contrast media as required.
• Set technical parameters and observe image data during scans.
• Recognize normal vs. abnormal images and respond to life-threatening situations.
