Job summary

PFP Logistics LLC is seeking a Warehouse Operations Supervisor in Pooler, GA. You will lead 40+ associates across multiple cold storage warehouses, oversee unloading containers, and palletize floor-load product to optimize client operations.

Your role includes coaching staff, ensuring safety, maintaining records, and building client relationships. Weekly duties cover recruiting/onboarding and P&L analysis, with growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding 3PL.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience supervising or managing a team to meet goals or SLAs
• Strong verbal and written communication in a business environment
• Experience using Microsoft Office
• Effective leadership and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Supervise 40+ associates across multiple cold storage warehouses and palletize floor-load product
• Schedule and assign tasks, including unloading containers
• Monitor productivity and enforce safety protocols

• Maintain documentation and communicate discrepancies or damages
• Assist with recruiting and onboarding; analyze Profit and Loss statements with leadership

Job description

• This role manages 40+ associates at multiplecold storage warehouses ,unloading containers and palletizing floor-load product.
• Main Objective: Build and manage a strong, dependable team to streamline our client's Warehouse Operations (Receiving Department)

Daily Responsibilities:

• Navigate customer requests and workload fluctuations
• Supervise and schedule team members unloading containers + other assigned tasks
• Monitor productivity and adherence to safety protocols
• Train and coach staff on proper procedures, equipment use, and cold storage best practices
• Maintain documentation and communicate any discrepancies or damages
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients

Weekly Responsibilities:

• Assist with recruiting and onboarding
• Analyze Profit and Loss Statement

Requirements:

• Experience: 3+ years of successfully supervising/managing a team towards set goals, objectives or service-level agreements
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in a business environment
• Computer: Experience using Microsoft Office
• Effective leadership and organizational skills
