Job summary

Austin Country Club in Austin, Texas is actively seeking a full-time Saute Line Cook to join our culinary team. Earn $21.50 per hour and enjoy benefits as a full-time member of one of Texas' oldest clubs.

You will prepare, cook, and plate items with precise timing, read and follow recipes, and coordinate with fellow cooks, kitchen leadership, and members to ensure excellent service. Shifts vary and may include weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Sautéing, roasting, braising, grilling, and sauce preparation skills.
• Ability to read and execute recipes accurately and consistently.
• Ability to work multiple stations and support the kitchen team.
• Professional appearance and ability to represent Austin Country Club to members.
• Strong communication and teamwork during high-volume service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and plate menu items following established recipes and standards.
• Maintain proper timing and communication with the kitchen to ensure smooth service.
• Complete daily prep, keep the sauté station stocked and service-ready.
• Assist with prep and production across the kitchen as needed.
• Monitor food quality, sanitation, and safety per health standards.
• Attend meetings and training; collaborate with leadership and staff.
