You will interact with guests, perform sausage demonstrations, drive sales, maintain inventory and safety, and train staff to deliver exceptional service in the SausageWorks department.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to take direction from supervision.
• Computer literacy and familiarity with store systems.

Responsibilities

• Act as Sausage Professor on the sales floor with a fan-friendly attitude.
• Engage guests in a fun, friendly manner to create an engaging environment.
• Ensure staff provides fun, friendly and engaging service.
• Demonstrate samples and practice suggestive selling.
• Maintain superior guest service at all times.
• Perform activities described in the Sausage Professor character performance description.
• Achieve sales, shrink and profit goals for the SausageWorks.
• Maintain department inventory and supplies.
• Operate department according to merchandising and operational standards.
• Ensure product quality meets Lowes Foods standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety throughout the department.
• Guide, orient, train and provide feedback to SausageWorks staff.
• Handle product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking and guest service as needed.
• Manage department labor budget and scheduling standards.
• Make PA announcements.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
