Lazy Dog Restaurants, LLC is hiring a Saucier in Vernon Hills, IL. The position offers a $21-$23 per hour pay range, flexible scheduling, and a fast-paced Scratch Kitchen environment where we craft sauces, soups and proteins to spec.

You will ensure only fresh ingredients are used, monitor recipe displays, and maintain proper cooling, labeling and dating while staying tidy and communicative in a team setting. High School diploma preferred.

• Ensures recipes are displayed correctly on monitors during prep and cooking.
• Maintains proper cooling, storage, labeling and dating of foods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare house-made sauces, soups, dressings and proteins per Lazy Dog recipes.
• Maintain clean, organized and safe cooking station.
• Follow safety, portioning and dating standards at all times.
• Communicate with team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Support other cooks and contribute to a positive, fast-paced environment.
