Job summary

Soccer Stars United is seeking an experienced and dependable soccer professional to serve as our Saturday Field Supervisor and Coach Development Lead for the Fall season.

This on-field leadership role oversees Saturday programming at St. Paul’s Recreation Complex, ensuring coaches arrive prepared and deliver the weekly curriculum to standard, while coordinating with staff and club officials.

Qualifications

• Two years of soccer coaching experience minimum.
• Strong understanding of player development and session organization.
• Ability to learn, implement, and design soccer curricula and session plans.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to evaluate coaches objectively and provide constructive feedback.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Professional and confident when communicating with coaches, parents, officials, and board members.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-field presence from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturdays during the Fall season.
• Ensure coaches arrive on time and are prepared for sessions.
• Monitor sessions to ensure weekly plans are delivered as designed.
• Provide feedback, guidance, and on-field support to coaches.
• Maintain high coaching standards, professionalism, and player engagement.
• Interpret and communicate curriculum and weekly objectives.
• Assist with session plan development and curriculum materials as needed.
• Address operational and field-related issues calmly and efficiently.
• Provide timely reports on attendance, session quality, and incidents.
