Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a PRN Mammography Technologist to cover Saturdays, 8a-2p. Two technologists needed each Saturday; occasional weekday pickup in NE region available.

The role emphasizes compassionate, high-quality care and adherence to radiation safety and departmental standards. Qualified candidates will hold ARRT registrations (R and M), BLS/ALS, and a Texas MRT license or temporary license, with ability to position patients and ensure image quality.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program or approved mammography program.
• Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT).
• ARRT-R and ARRT-M registration.
• Basic or Advanced Life Support certification.

Responsabilidades

• Perform mammography radiographic exams with proper radiation safety and patient preparation.
• Explain procedure, position patient, apply imaging techniques and ensure image quality.
• Enter and monitor patient data and maintain records.
• Perform quality assurance on mammography equipment.
• Assist with accreditation applications as needed.
• Identify and report accidents, complaints or equipment malfunctions.
• Take emergency call within the department.
• Deliver safe, compassionate care and uphold Memorial Hermann policies and standards.
